| Exceptional
business activities and initiatives from the past year, as well
as outstanding individual volunteer efforts, are recognized
and honored at the Annual Chamber Dinner and Awards Banquet.
Held the fourth Thursday of October, the event draws several
hundred local business people and elected officials together
to celebrate the events and successes of the past year. Special
recognition is presented to those businesses that have experienced
significant success in employment growth or investment in the
expansion of services or facilities. An individual who has provided
exceptional volunteer commitment to the community is also recognized
through the presentation of the Community Service Award at the
banquet.
